Riverwood is a tiny Jefferson County city of about 500 people, located 15 miles southwest of Louisville via I-264 west to the Cane Run Road exit. Most visitors arrive from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, about 20 miles east. The city covers less than one square mile, making it walkable end-to-end in 15 minutes.
