Riverton is a small Minnesota lake country town of 145 people in Crow Wing County, about 15 miles north of Brainerd on Highway 371. Most visitors arrive via I-94 from the Twin Cities or Highway 210 from Duluth, with the Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport nearby for air travelers. The town still has an original 1900s grain elevator standing as a reminder of its agricultural past.
