Riverside is a tiny Carbon County community of about 60 people along the North Platte River in south-central Wyoming. Take I-80 west from Laramie 45 miles to Exit 219, then head south 8 miles on County Road 401. From Rawlins, it's 30 miles east on I-80 to the same exit. The town sits at 6,800 feet in high desert country and operates one of Wyoming's oldest post offices, dating to 1878.
