Riverland is a small farming community in western Minnesota with 239 residents, reached via Highway 200 and rural county roads. Most visitors drive from the Twin Cities using I-94 west to Highway 10, then north through Wadena. The town sits near the Wild Rice River headwaters, which gave the community its name and continues to wind through the surrounding prairie farmland.
