River Heights is a small Cache Valley city just south of Logan on US-89. The main route follows US-89 north to Logan or south toward Salt Lake City, about 80 miles away. Logan-Cache Airport sits 8 miles northwest for regional flights. Local traffic uses US-89 for daily commutes throughout Cache Valley, while the highway doubles as Main Street through town. The city's 1939 fire station still displays vintage firefighting equipment.
