River Falls is a small Alabama town of about 400 people in Covington County, near the Florida border. It's reached via State Route 55, with longer routes coming from Montgomery via US 331 south or from Mobile via I-65 north to US 84 west. The town sits in pine forest country with a humid subtropical climate. River Falls gets its name from a small waterfall on a local creek that once powered a 19th-century gristmill.
