River Bottom is a tiny farming community of 244 people in eastern Oklahoma's Muskogee County, sitting in the fertile Arkansas River valley. Access is mainly via State Highway 165 from US-69, about 15 miles south of Muskogee. The town sits in rich bottomland that turns almost black after spring rains.
