Ripley is a small county seat in north Mississippi's hill country, about 80 miles from Memphis via US Highway 15. The town sits at the intersection of Highway 15 and State Highway 4, making it a crossroads for travelers between Tennessee and central Mississippi. The 1906 courthouse with its prominent clock tower dominates the town square and has been keeping time for residents for more than a century.
