Riley is a small Kansas town of about 950 people located 10 miles southwest of Manhattan along US Highway 24. The highway connects directly to Manhattan and continues west to Junction City, with Interstate 70 access about 30 miles south. Set in the rolling Flint Hills near the Kansas River, Riley features a historic downtown district with buildings dating to the late 1800s railroad era.
