Ridgway is a small city in north-central Pennsylvania's Elk County, surrounded by the forested hills of the Pennsylvania Wilds. US Route 219 is the main access road, connecting south to Interstate 80 near DuBois about 30 miles away. The city serves as a gateway to outdoor recreation and hosts the annual Ridgway Chainsaw Carvers Rendezvous each September.
