Ridgeway is a farming town of 315 people in northeast Iowa's Winneshiek County, reached via Highway 9 from Decorah (15 miles east) or Cresco (20 miles west). The drive from Cedar Falls takes 90 minutes through rural countryside, while Rochester, Minnesota is about an hour north. The town's 1920s grain elevator still towers beside the old railroad tracks.
