Ricketts is a farming community of 61 people in western Iowa's Crawford County. Take Highway 141 north from Denison for about 8 miles to reach town, or connect via Highway 37 running east-west. The area features typical Midwest continental weather with hot summers and cold winters perfect for corn and soybeans. A century-old white wooden church serves as the town's most recognizable landmark.
