Richwood is a small Louisiana city just northeast of Monroe, easily reached via Highway 165 north from Interstate 20. This community of 3,800 sits in rolling terrain about 20 miles from Monroe Regional Airport. The annual Founder's Day Festival in October brings the whole town together with a parade right down the main highway.
