Richland is a tiny desert town in eastern Oregon's Baker County with under 200 people. Drive Highway 86 west from Baker City for 45 miles through scenic Burnt River Canyon. Most visitors pass through heading to Hells Canyon or wilderness areas. The Burnt River flows through town, and old railroad spikes from the historic Sumpter Valley Railway still turn up along its banks.
