Richland is a small Indiana town of 588 people in Spencer County, about 30 miles northeast of Evansville via US-41 north to State Road 66 east. The main access is SR-66, with connections from Louisville through I-264 and US-41. Set among rolling farmland typical of southwestern Indiana, the town sits near Lincoln State Park, where Abraham Lincoln lived during his formative teenage years from 1816 to 1830.
