Reynolds is a small farming town of about 600 people in western Illinois near the Mississippi River. Take Interstate 280 from the Quad Cities area, about 15 miles northeast, or follow State Route 17 east-west through town. The community sits on flat prairie land and maintains one of Rock Island County's last one-room schoolhouses, now used as a local museum.
