Rexford is a small farming town in northwest Kansas along US Highway 24, about 25 miles from Interstate 70 via Colby. The highway connects Goodland to the west with regional farm communities to the east, while Kansas 383 provides north-south access through Thomas County's wheat country. The 1930s concrete arch bridge over the Smoky Hill River stands as a Depression-era landmark.
