This tiny Lewis County farming town of 68 people sits along US Highway 12, about 25 miles east of Lewiston in Idaho's wheat country. Most traffic uses Highway 12 for the scenic drive between Lewiston and Montana, passing through rolling Palouse hills. The town was named after early postmaster Reuben Farnsworth, who ran the mail service from his kitchen table.
