Rennert is a tiny Robeson County town of under 300 people in southeastern North Carolina. Highway 74 runs right by it, about 15 miles east of Lumberton and on the route to Wilmington. Most visitors arrive via I-95 to Highway 74 or take Highway 74 straight from Charlotte. The town sits near the winding Lumber River, perfect for fishing and exploring the region's distinctive blackwater swamps.
