Remington is a small railroad town in northern Virginia's Fauquier County, home to about 1,000 people along the Rappahannock River. US Routes 15 and 29 intersect here, with Route 29 providing direct access to DC-area suburbs for commuters. The town developed around the railroad and maintains its rural character with rolling farmland and distant Blue Ridge Mountain views. Its historic train depot still operates as an active Amtrak station.
