Regent is a tiny farming town of 181 people in southwestern North Dakota's prairie country. Highway 21 runs right through town, connecting to Highway 12 about 15 miles north for longer trips to Bowman or Dickinson. Most locals make the 25-mile run to New England for errands. The massive wooden grain elevator still dominates the skyline, a prairie landmark visible for miles.
