Reese is a small farming town in Michigan's Thumb region, reached via I-75 Exit 136 then eight miles west on M-46. Most visitors come from Bay City (25 miles) or Saginaw (35 miles), with Detroit about two hours south. The area's flat agricultural landscape is dominated by corn and sugar beet fields, and the town's red and white water tower serves as a landmark visible for miles across the farmland.
