Raymond is a small Mississippi town of about 1,600 people, located 20 miles southwest of Jackson on Highway 18. Most visitors arrive via Interstate 20 (Exit 36) or drive directly from Jackson in about 30 minutes. The town sits near the historic Natchez Trace Parkway, where you can still see remnants of the original wilderness road that connected Nashville to Natchez in the early 1800s.
