Raymond is a farming town of 899 people in Black Hawk County, about 20 miles northwest of Waterloo via Highway 63. The Waterloo Regional Airport is 25 miles southeast for air travelers. Main routes include Highway 57 from Cedar Falls and connections to Interstate 380 and Highway 20 for longer trips. The town preserves its original 1881 railroad depot building.
