Ravia is a small Oklahoma town of about 500 people located along US Highway 377, roughly 20 miles north of the Texas border. The main route runs north from Gainesville, Texas or south from Ardmore via Interstate 35. State Highway 199 provides east-west access to nearby communities like Madill. The town's vintage 1920s red brick school building remains its most recognizable landmark.
