Ravenna is a tiny farming community in northeast Texas, about 15 miles southeast of Bonham via Highway 56. Most visitors arrive from Dallas (70 miles southwest) by taking US 380 through McKinney and Farmersville before connecting north on Highway 56. The rural roads see mainly local traffic heading to Bonham for services or commuting to larger towns. The old Ravenna school building still stands as a local landmark.
