Rathdrum is a gateway town in Idaho's Panhandle, 20 miles northeast of Coeur d'Alene via Highway 41. Most visitors arrive from I-90 at Exit 12, connecting to Spokane or the lake recreation areas. The rolling forested hills experience warm, dry summers and snowy winters typical of northern Idaho. Rathdrum houses Silverwood Theme Park, the Pacific Northwest's largest amusement park, featuring classic wooden roller coasters that draw families from across the region.
