Randolph is a farming town of 461 people in southeastern Dakota County, about 35 miles from Minneapolis. Highway 56 runs right through town, connecting north to I-35 near Farmington and south toward Iowa. Most traffic consists of local farmers and Twin Cities commuters who've chosen rural living.
