Randleman is a small Piedmont city about 20 miles south of Greensboro via US Highway 220. The town sits in rolling hill country with typical North Carolina climate. US 220 is the main route, connecting north to Greensboro and south to Asheboro, while NC 62 runs east-west through town. Most long-distance visitors arrive via I-85 to US 220. The city was once home to Petty Enterprises, the famous NASCAR racing team.
