Ramah is a tiny rural community of about 127 people in eastern El Paso County, 45 miles southeast of Colorado Springs via US Highway 94. The main route from Denver takes I-25 south to the Springs, then Highway 94 east through ranch country. This high plains settlement sits at 6,200 feet elevation among rolling grasslands where cattle outnumber people. The historic one-room schoolhouse from 1888 still stands as a testament to the area's homesteading past.
