Ralston is a small city of 6,500 people in Douglas County, just southwest of Omaha. Most visitors arrive via Interstate 80 and Highway 370, which runs east-west through town. It's about 20 minutes from downtown Omaha and serves as a convenient stop for travelers on I-80 between Denver and Des Moines. The city's proximity to Offutt Air Force Base has influenced its development, and the original 1888 Burlington Railroad depot still stands as a historical museum downtown.
