Ragland is a small Alabama town of 1,682 people located 45 miles northeast of Birmingham in the Appalachian foothills. Take I-20 east to Exit 158, then Highway 34 north for 15 miles to reach the community. The town connects Pell City and other St. Clair County communities via Highway 34, and its 1883 railroad depot now serves as the local museum.
