Quogue is a small hamlet on Long Island's South Shore between Shinnecock Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Take I-495 east to Exit 70, then County Road 111 south to Route 27A east. Summer traffic from NYC can be heavy on weekends. The community of 760 residents features one of Long Island's last hand-operated drawbridges from 1930.
