Qulin is a small farming town in Missouri's Bootheel, about 30 miles from Poplar Bluff via Highway 142. The area sits in cotton and soybean country with a humid subtropical climate. Most traffic involves local commutes to Poplar Bluff or agricultural transport during planting and harvest. The town still operates one of southeast Missouri's last remaining cotton gins, a distinctive white building visible from the main highway.
