Quinn is a tiny prairie community of 48 people in western South Dakota, about 45 miles east of Rapid City on US Highway 14. The town sits on high plains at 3,200 feet elevation, where Highway 14 intersects with State Route 73. Most visitors pass through on cross-state trips, though some locals commute to Rapid City for work. The old Milwaukee Road railroad grade still crosses the highway just east of town.
