Quincy sits on a plateau above the Columbia River in central Washington's agricultural belt, about 150 miles east of Seattle via I-90 and SR 281. The main route takes I-90 to Exit 151 at George, then north on SR 281. Local traffic uses this highway to reach the famous Gorge Amphitheatre for concerts. The city operates Grant County's only municipal airport with a paved runway, primarily serving crop dusters for the surrounding potato farms.
