Puxico is a small farming town in southeastern Missouri, about 25 miles north of Poplar Bluff via Highway 25. The community of 850 sits in Stoddard County's agricultural heartland, accessible from Interstate 55 through Dexter or Poplar Bluff. The restored 1920s bank building downtown still features its original vault doors and serves as the local historical society.
