Prue is a small Oklahoma town of 329 people in Osage County, about 35 miles north of Tulsa via US-169 and Highway 11. The area features rolling prairie dotted with oil wells that have pumped since the early 1900s. Some original wooden derricks from the oil boom days are still visible along Highway 11 as you drive into town.
