Pringle is a small Pennsylvania borough of 800 people in the Wyoming Valley between Wilkes-Barre and Kingston. Reach it via I-81 to Route 309 south, or take Route 11 along the Susquehanna River. The nearest major airport is Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International, about 15 miles away. Most visitors combine stops here with trips to the Poconos or other I-81 destinations. The town was named after early settlers who built one of the valley's first gristmills in the 1770s.
