Presidio is a remote border town on the Rio Grande, directly across from Ojinaga, Mexico. US Highway 67 connects it to Marfa (60 miles north) and the rest of Texas via I-10 near Fort Stockton. The drive crosses dramatic Chihuahuan Desert landscape with long stretches between services. The 24-hour Port of Entry here handles major commercial traffic to Mexico's interior.
