Pratt is a small river town about 15 miles northeast of Charleston along US Route 119, which follows the Kanawha River through the mountains. Most visitors arrive via this scenic highway from Charleston (25 minutes) or from Montgomery to the north. The community of 440 sits where Lens Creek meets the Kanawha River, marked by a historic railroad bridge that's visible from the main road.
