Prague is a small farming town in eastern Nebraska, about 30 miles northwest of Omaha via US Highway 77. The main routes are Highway 77 running north-south and State Highway 109 east-west, connecting it to surrounding rural communities. Most visitors come from the Omaha area for a quick rural getaway through rolling prairie farmland. The town was named after Prague, Czech Republic, by Bohemian settlers in the 1880s who called it the "Czech Capital of Nebraska."
