Powhatan Point is a small Ohio River town in Belmont County, about 45 miles from Pittsburgh via State Route 7. The village of 1,400 sits where Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia nearly converge, offering river views and Appalachian foothills. Most visitors arrive from I-70 via Route 7 or from Wheeling, 20 miles south. The town operates one of Ohio's last free ferries across the river to West Virginia.
