Powell is a Columbus suburb about 20 miles northwest via US Route 23, accessible from I-270's northern loop. This Delaware County community of 14,000 grew from a 19th-century railroad stop into a family-oriented suburb with tree-lined streets and newer developments. The restored train depot downtown serves as a community center and nods to Powell's transportation roots.
