Post, a small West Texas city of 4,300, sits about 45 miles southeast of Lubbock on US Highway 84. The town serves as Garza County seat on the Caprock Escarpment, where high plains meet rolling ranch country. Highway 207 runs north-south through town connecting to the broader regional network. Founded in 1907 by cereal king C.W. Post, the town still features his original company headquarters building downtown.
