Portia is a small Arkansas town of 453 people in Lawrence County's rolling hills. Highway 63 provides the main north-south access, while Highway 25 runs east-west through the area. Most traffic involves local trips to nearby Walnut Ridge, about 15 miles south near the regional airport. You can still spot traces of the old Missouri Pacific Railroad line that once ran through town.
