Poneto is a tiny farming community in Wells County, about 25 miles southwest of Fort Wayne via US 224 and State Road 1. The drive takes you through classic Indiana corn country on flat, straight roads. The old grain elevators still stand as reminders of when this railroad stop shipped crops across the Midwest.
