Pomaria is a tiny South Carolina community in Newberry County's rolling farmland, about 15 miles west of Newberry via Highway 34. The drive from Columbia takes 45 minutes on I-26 west to local roads. The historic general store at the crossroads has been the town's anchor for over a century.
