Pollocksville is a small Jones County town of about 460 people, sitting along the Trent River between New Bern and Kinston. Most visitors arrive via US 17 to NC Highway 58, or from inland areas on US 70 through Kinston. The town features one of North Carolina's last manually operated swing bridges over the Trent River.
