Polk is a small Pennsylvania borough of about 615 people in Venango County, reached mainly via State Route 62. It's 15 miles southeast of Franklin and sits in the historic oil region of northwestern PA. The nearest Interstate 80 access is 30 miles south. You can still see old oil derricks scattered across the surrounding countryside from America's first petroleum boom.
